songlines - the earth - the square meters - amwengkwerne

Amoonguna is an Indigenous community close to Emily Gap, 15 km Southeast of Alice Springs in Central Australia.
The name Amoonguna is derived from the Arrernte word AMWENGKWERNE, being the name of the dreaming site slightly to the west of the present community.
The SOIL for this part of the project was donated by Marie Elena Ellis, artist from Amoonguna.
