Long expected
then surprisingly
rising up from the plains
red, round and mighty
ULURU,
the heart of Australia,
the navel of the EARTH,
the pulse of the world.
Unmoved, there he lays
impassive, mysterious and sacred
Unfortunately, with the time and financial resources at my disposal, it was impossible to get direct access to the people of ANANGU at Uluru. Despite the engaged help of some park rangers, my efforts were bogged down by the bureaucracy of the National Park administration.
But there is still hope that on a new visit to Uluru, SOIL might be received from the hands of the ANANGU themselves from this important place in the world.
