MICHAEL HÖCK The world’s first SOIL-WINDOW in the Old St. Christopher’s Church in Munich Fasanerie. The panes of this window were fabricated in a newly developed process, using SOIL from locations of prelate MICHAEL HÖCK’s path of life.

KÜSTER COLLECTION
EARTH IMAGES
In the areaway of the foreign office at the Werderscher Markt in Berlin 250 pictures of EARTH soar free in space. The pieces were produced with SOIL from 250 different sites, from every continent on EARTH.
In this installation the EARTH has been removed from its usual environment into the air – a foreign element. The attention of the observer will be directed upwards, away from the EARTH – making a clear view of new dimensions possible and at the same time offering a chance to think afresh about the EARTH as a planet, as an element and as fertile SOIL.
A project to the Ecumenical Church Congress Munich 2010 by Ekkeland Götze
A line connects the Catholic St. Anna Church with the Protestant St. Lukas Church.
This line leads from the portals in direction of the axles of the churches down the steps to the street level, then in a direct and straight line from church to church. The lanes of the traversing roads will be left blank.
Arrow marks on the line refers to the both churches also when they not in the range of vision of the observer.
