with the help of Norman Cambrigde

We had to wait all weekend in Roosevelt to meet the contact people at the Northern Ute Tribe Headquarters on Monday. They did not show up, but with friendly assistance we finally found Norman Cambridge, a Navaho responsible for land affairs of the tribe at Uintah and Ouray agency of the Department of Indian Affairs.

We looked at all available maps, phoned several people and discussed the conditions at the sites.

Norman himself took us with his range rover to the site in the desert, where mineral oil is extracted everywhere.
