Over there, on the Kurimakare hill, at the beginning of our time, lived a man and a woman. They lived together there, but they were not allowed to come together, as the man was a priest and the woman was a nun and therefore they were siblings.
Yet he had desired the woman right from the beginning. And time was a witness for that which no one was allowed to see - the surrendering to the desires of the flesh.
The story says that he let her drink from a plant which only grows there by the church. And she then also desired him and they made love to each other.
And God punished them. They were turned to stone as an example to the following generations.
First of all they lived in the church and committed sin, now they live in these stones into which they have been turned.
Despite the fact that they are so close to each other, they may not desire each other for eternity, they are forever damned.
The church doesn't exist anymore, no one lives up there now. But everyone knows Kurimakare, because a plant grows there which is called Posana.
When one is up there it is beautiful to see how many little birds fly over this plant.
