aotearoa - te ara pounamu - the edition

POUNAMU


a portfolio containing 5 serigraphics and one terragraphic.

The serigraphics are based on photographs taken by EG in 1996 and 1997 in the AOTEAROA (New Zealand) bush. They were produced in print runs of 12 to 13.

The SOIL for the terragraphic-nş 277 was excavated by EG 1997 at the Arahura river on WAIPOUNAMU, the South Island of New Zealand.

The story POUTINI was obtained by EG from the Maori at the Arahura river and translated by him.

All sheets were printed by EG on BFK Rives 300 g. Size 37 x 37 cm (printing size 27 x 27 cm). They are signed with an imprint on the front, hand signed and numbered on the back. The edition are 33 Arabic and 5 Roman numbered copies.
