The Cima Brenta (also called Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Spitze until 1918) is the highest peak of the Brenta Group with an altitude of 3151 metres.

It lies in its centre and is partly surrounded by glaciers. To the north, the VEDRETTA DI BRENTA INFERIORE extends to just below the summit, to the west lies the Vedretta di Brenta superiore and to the south the Vedretta dei Brentei.  
Numerous peaks, rocky outcrops, but also larger mountains make up the rugged area around Cima Brenta.The most important elevations are Cima Sella (2919 m), the Campanile di Vallesinella (2940 m) and the 2988 m high Cima Falkner. To the south are Cima Molveno (2915 m), Torre di Brenta (3014 m), and Cima Brenta Alta (2960 m). The 3133-metre-high Cima Tosa, which lies to the southwest, was the highest mountain in the Brenta at 3173 metres until its ice cap melted.
