I had been following the narrow rural highway heading straight west for several hours. After turning off to reach the site, the scenery changed to a small-patterned, hilly landscape crisscrossed with the Zuckerbach and other streams. The site itself was located in a soy-bean field close to the farm house. At this lovely, peaceful spot I waited for three hours in the shade of the manifold trees before Phil appeared, permitting me in the name of the owner to dig up EARTH.
