with the help of Kenneth Mankhey

In contrast to the smooth plains of Indiana and Illinois, countless dry river beds run through the flat, open prairies of Nebraska. This makes for a varied landscape, with trees and bushes growing in the flats, often serving as hiding places for the buildings of a ranch.
I took the Earth at exactly 40° latitude, but I was not able to reach the intended site which was situated about half a mile away, fenced in by barbed wire with no visible path leading up to it.
