The pasture at Muddy Creek was so gigantic that I was not able to circle the whole of it while searching for its owner. All trails indicated on the maps were closed up by fences. So I finally dug up the EARTH at the fence closest to the 104° longitude. 
Shortly thereafter, I met Henry who told me about the owner and assured me that Earl certainly would not object to digging up EARTH for my project.
