I was surprised to find Cottonwood Ranch, situated right on Eightmile-Creek,  without difficulties. Nobody appeared after I sounded my horn, but after a couple of minutes Teri, Eddi Linkes daughter-in-law, arrived. Eddi was out mowing the gras, but Teri asked his wife for her permission to dig up EARTH and showed us a road bringing us closer to the site. 
First we crossed beautiful pastures alongside a creek with a view on a red mountain ridge. After that, we followed the creek mainly on deer paths, through the forest and up a hill to the exact site.
