The Visit of San Juan Bautista de Londó was founded by Father Eusebio Kino close the Cochimi settlement named Londó, 32 northern of Loreto.

Life was sustained by hunting and harvesting. A small pox outbreak caused its abandonment in 1750.

2014 remains of the chapel stones can be seeing as well as some walls on crops fields some hundred meters away from the Trans peninsular crossing road.
